“Adopt-A-Tree Program” Makes Progress
Thanks to our donors who’ve contributed to our new “Adopt-A-Tree” initiative. Our community is becoming greener with all the lovely trees that were newly planted along Central Avenue. If you know of someone who’s looking for a great cause, one that honors a loved one with a live tree and will be around for years to come, then this is a great option for them to choose. For a donation of $250.00, you can have a tree on Central Avenue named in honor of or in memory of someone you cherish.

Inaugural Meeting of the SNA Neighborhood Watch Program
The Summerville Board stepped up its crime fighting efforts in 2008 after a rash of burglaries, car break-ins, and thefts in our neighborhood. Joe, Neal, Jr., Vice President of SNA, has recruited and assembled a list of about 50 Summerville residents who have volunteered to serve as a Block Captain for the SNA Neighborhood Watch Program.
PLEASE ATTEND the inaugural meeting of the Summerville Neighborhood Association's Neighborhood Watch Program on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 6:30 pm in the Magnolia Room of the Partridge Inn.
Deputy Wendell Johnson of the Richmond County Sheriff's Department has been invited to speak to SNA residents about crime fighting efforts in our neighborhood, the erecting of Neighborhood Watch signs at strategic locations in Summerville, and the coordinating of SNA's crime fighting efforts with local law enforcement authorities.
SNA has developed a rapid fire email list to promptly and immediately notify residents of relevant information to fight crime and to keep our families and our neighborhood safe. If you would like to be put on the SNA email list, please send an email to joenealjr@neal-law.com or call my law office at 706-724-4216.
Fences, dogs, burglar alarms, and email are man's best friend. Use them wisely!
Joe Neal, Jr.
Vice President of Summerville Neighborhood Association
